We currently have an exciting vacancy in our Development Services Team for a Development Assessment Planner to join us on a temporary basis, to make the Wollondilly Shire an even better place, together.

As a Development Assessment Planner with Council, your day will consist of, but not be limited to:

  • Assessment of Development Applications, related applications and certificates.
  • Providing professional advice to Builders, Developers and the general public.
  • Preparation and giving expert evidence before the Land & Environment Court of NSW.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential experience and qualifications:

  • Degree qualifications in Town Planning or related discipline.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ relevant work experience in the assessment of development applications.
  • Working knowledge of the Environment Planning and Assessment Act 1979, NSW Planning Legislation and other Acts and Legislation relevant to the position.
  • Class C Drivers Licence.
