The Role

As a part of a small but effective Executive Team reporting to the General Manager, the Director Corporate Strategy and Resourcing is a crucial role for our Council. This role will significantly contribute towards ensuring Council effectively delivers on the strategic outcomes of the CSP complying with all legislative compliance and good governance and is responsible for Information Services, Governance and Corporate Performance, Business and Property and People and Culture sections.

The organisation is part way through a transformation and the Director Corporate Strategy and Resourcing will lead and engage the team through the remaining phase and beyond. Business and process improvement and managing corporate risks are significant components of the role, as well as ensuring the directorates’ financial and customer targets are met. This role will work closely with the current Administrator (then with the newly Elected Members from September 2024) and undertake continuous positive relationship management with all internal and external stakeholders.

The Person

We are searching for that energetic and passionate individual who can inspire, lead and drive a diverse team to initiate changes with ease, ensure positive customer focussed outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders and thinks organisationally while delivering as a directorate. Your experience and expertise combined with a natural ability to foster and develop positive connections and networks across all areas of business, will be well utilised to deliver on all identified outcomes… now and into the future.
