Plumbing Inspector-Surveyor – Permit Authority

Being a leader of change to support the delivery of Council’s plumbing inspections, including the assessment of plumbing applications within the prescribed time frames under the current Building Act and Regulations.

You will have completed an apprenticeship as a Sanitary Plumber and currently hold registration as an Advanced Registered Sanitary Plumber, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position and must possess a current driver’s licence.

Salary: Technical Inspectorial (Level 5): Salary Package of $110,000 to $130,000* per year - will be negotiated with successful applicant and will be dependent on qualifications and experience.

*Salary package includes a commuter use vehicle, annual leave loading, sick leave bonus scheme, and will include a 15% superannuation entitlement

Position Hours: To be negotiated with the successful applicant (will consider part-time and full-time hours). A typical working day is Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.00pm (30 minutes lunch) i.e. 19-day month.
