Council now has career defining opportunities for three experienced and highly motivated individuals to work with a progressive Council and an outcomes focused leadership team.

Executive Manager People and Culture

You will be an experienced HR professional with a track record of leading and managing workplace change  and shaping a positive workplace culture.  You will:

  • Have strong people management skills, including motivating, negotiating with and mentoring staff
  • Have a proven ability to lead and shape organisational culture 
  • Be able to translate legislative and statutory obligations into practical procedures and work practices
  • Be able to exercise sound judgement and possess strong emotional intelligence

Manager Infrastructure Works

You will efficiently and effectively manage the maintenance teams and a range of capital works projects. You will need to demonstrate:

  • Your ability to successfully manage the engineering works function at both a strategic and operational level in a highly complex organisation  
  • Be able to manage multiple works programs and work within budgets and timelines
  • Proven leadership ability to manage and motivate a large workforce
  • Experience in managing asset plans and schedules to plan and implement maintenance schedules across a range of functional areas  

Projects Engineer x2

You will be responsible for detailed designs, work schedules and estimation of engineering project costs, technical assistance and the ongoing development and implementation of Quality Control standards and systems. You will have demonstrated:

  • Sufficient experience in the development and delivery of civil projects, including roads, bridges, buildings and open spaces 
  • You will display leadership and motivation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills 
  • Project Management and Contract Management skills
  • Your ability to prepare reliable budget estimates for infrastructure projects
