About the role:
The Mackay Entertainment & Convention Centre are accepting expressions of interest for passionate and enthusiastic hospitality professionals with banquet or functions experience to join our catering team.
Applications will be kept on file for up to three (3) months from the date of submission for consideration.
Applicants must be available to work rostered shifts including weekdays, after hours and weekends as per the Mackay Entertainment & Convention Centre requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (RSA)
- A current QLD 'C' Class Drivers Licence
- Previous experience in a food and beverage role
- Previous experience waiting/bar staff
- Sound oral and written communication skills
- Blue Card -
It is an essential requirement for this position to hold a Working with Children Blue Card. Under Queensland legislation, you must hold the Blue Card prior to commencing employment – No Card, No Start policy. If you currently do not hold a Blue Card, we recommend you commence the application process when you apply for the position.
