Labourer - Parks



Council is seeking applications to fill the role of Labourer within the Parks section. Applications close on Friday, 4 December 2020 at 5.00pm.

The Burdekin is located just 70km south of Townsville, where unspoilt natural beauty meets a thriving rural community right on the doorstep of the Great Barrier Reef.  Famous for its abundant sunshine and rich agriculture, the shire’s most important asset is water.  The Burdekin River combined with a massive underground aquifer and the Burdekin Falls Dam make the district drought resistant.

Council is seeking applications to fill the role of Labourer within the Parks section to assist with the maintenance of Council parks, gardens, public open spaces and cemeteries by undertaking general labouring and truck driving duties as directed by their immediate supervisor.

The gross fortnightly wage for this position is $2,173.51 including Construction Allowance.
