Community Engagement Manager

About the Opportunity

To support the Port Macquarie’s Hastings rapidly expanding community of over 83,000 residents we require an experienced community engagement leader to manage the community engagement activities for Council that support both our Vison and our Mission to ‘bring Council closer to the community’.

Within this role you will lead a small but busy team. This team is responsible for:

  • Undertaking community engagement activities of Council.
  • Building positive working relationships with key community stakeholders to achieve Council objective
  • Providing advice and input into the establishment of Council’s Operational Plan and Delivery Plan.

You shall be a proven people leader with relevant experience and qualifications. You will possess a growth mindset and share our corporate vision of creating a vibrant future for our Community.

Remuneration

This is a full time permanent role, with a remuneration in the range of $94,774 - $106,665 p.a (depending on skills and experience), plus superannuation.

The role is 35 hour a week, with access to Council’s Flexible Working Hours policy.
