Coordinator Fleet Projects


About the team

The team sits within Fleet Strategy and improvement which has the responsibility for planning for future fleet requirements, conducting replacement demand analysis and defining replacement policies to inform fleet procurement. 

About your new role

In this role, you will lead an inclusive team of Fleet specialised project officers and will strategically deliver Fleet projects and business improvement initiatives, including the Light vehicle review and the Carpool System implementation. 

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, including status reports, project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and other relevant records 
  • Monitoring the progress of tasks and milestones to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget 
  • Consulting, delivering and presenting to Senior Leadership and stakeholders  
  • Providing leadership, mentorship and guidance to the Project Team in relation to business improvement initiatives, quality management, and business planning and compliance requirements to meet strategic and operational objectives 
  • Developing business improvement strategies, methodologies and tools to deliver and report on a portfolio of projects to meet business requirements 

We're looking for people who have:

  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated business acumen 
  • Excellent communication skills and proficient with various IT platforms, including Microsoft Suite and SAP 
  • Superior organisational skills necessary to work autonomously to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities 
  • Sound understanding of project management principles, methodology and best practices 
  • Tertiary Qualifications or extensive experience in Project Management  
  • Experience within a logistics, fleet or asset management environment, would be advantageous
