A rare opportunity exists for a methodical and detail-oriented individual to join our remarkable Engineering Team at the City of Kwinana. Reporting to the Coordinator Engineering Developments, this position is responsible for providing professional advice and effective management of sub-divisional and development projects, ensuring organisational objectives are achieved in compliance with City standards, specifications and guidelines.
In this role, you will provide professional assistance and technical support to the Development Engineer ensuring that engineering requirements of sub-divisional, developments and cross-over applications are met. You will interact with developers, contractors, the general public and other stakeholders including internal officers to contribute to strategic initiatives, and deliver a high quality, technically sound engineering service.
What You’ll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Sound knowledge and understanding of sub-divisional development processes.
- Previous experience in the supervision of or inspection of civil engineering and sub-divisional works.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and an ability to provide high quality customer service.
- Highly developed computer literacy and report writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Possession of a Driver’s Licence.
- Possession of, or working towards a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
