About the role We are seeking a Coordinator Facilities to lead the building and facilities team consistent with the objectives of Council’s adopted business plans and operational works programs. In this position, you will develop and update relevant policy, strategy and planning documents for maintenance, renewal and improvement of Council’s buildings and facilities including the Regional Airport and Grafton Saleyards. You will also engage with key stakeholders and community members to facilitate contribution to the development of masterplans, strategies and strategic plans. The Coordinator will deliver the operational and capital works programs to ensure that time, cost, quality and productivity outcomes are achieved. The role is also responsible for the ongoing maintenance management systems for Council’s buildings and facilities. This position will require strong leadership skills combined with a thorough understanding of facility management.
