Our Fitness Centres feature an extensive range of resistance machines and free weight equipment. With access to up to 50 diverse group fitness classes weekly, including options like high- intensity, low impact, strength, mind body practices, and aqua classes. Our Aquatic Centres also offer a range of other facilities including our 25m and 50m pools, warm water pools, Learn to Swim programs and splash pools.

About the Positions

We’re hiring energetic Fitness Leaders and Group Instructors to join our highly motivated, fun and skilled team of fitness professionals at Pimpama Sports Hub and Gold Coast Aquatic Centre.

There’s flexibility to work across the centre’s operating hours (early morning, mid-morning, evenings, and weekends). Casual hourly rates for Fitness Leaders start from $34.88 per hour and Group Instructors rates start from $55.81 per hour (rates exclude super and applicable penalties).

** Fitness Leaders

Our Fitness Leaders are dedicated and committed to creating a warm and supportive environmentfor our members at the fitness centre. You use your specialist knowledge to inspire and guide members through inductions, fitness assessments, consultation and conduct a range of group fitness classes. With a demonstrated fitness industry background, you have sound ability to perform operational procedures including opening and closing, membership servicing, ensuring gym is presentable and safe. You are able to carry out manual handling responsibilities, often assisting Group Fitness Instructors with the class setup and pack down if required, ensuring seamless and efficient sessions for our members.

** Group Instructors

You use your expertise and knowledge to design a class for a diverse group of members. Whether it is Aqua Aerobics, Deep Water Running, Spin, Zumba/Dance, ABT, Pilates, Yoga, HIIT, Functional, Strength or Stretching class, we’re seeking an individual who is experienced and is enthusiastic about empowering others to move better, feel better and get more active. You are responsible for the setup and pack down for your class which requires manual handling. You have a contagious energy and enthusiasm, and the confidence to make exercise fun and enjoyable, keeping members coming back for more..

Certificate III or IV or Health and Fitness OR a qualification to teach a group fitness class.

You may also be required to undertake reference checks via Xref, police checks, employment history checks, qualification checks and drug and alcohol testing.
