The Role

Join Council’s Environment & Health business unit where you will supervise, mentor and manage the environmental health and compliance team and their functions.

As Coordinator of this team, not only will you work to achieve key targets and service functions, you will also play a central role in shaping the future direction of the services we provide to our community.

To be successful you will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in environmental health or similar discipline and extensive knowledge and experience in relevant legislation enforcement;
• Demonstrated staff management skills to plan, manage and supervise functions of a professional/technical team; and
• Demonstrated ability in managing complex enforcement and legal actions including the coordination of legal proceedings.

The Rewards

• Commencing salary between $114,783 – $129,180 per annum, inclusive of 10% superannuation

• Work 35 hours per week, over a 19 day 4 week period
