Council is seeking applications to fill the full time position of Plant Operator (Grader). This position will be based in Isisford. Applications will be received until 08 June 2022. Late applications may not be considered.

The Position

Council is seeking the services of a person to fill the position of Plant Operator (Grader). The successful applicant will be responsible for performing safe and efficient grader operation, maintenance and use of assigned plant, equipment and materials, and associated labouring duties, as directed in the execution of Council’s civil construction and maintenance activities.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this position you will need to hold OHS Australian Certification (Grader), White Induction Card (30215 Qld Course in General Safety Induction) and a current “MC” Class Driver’s Licence. It would also be desirable for the successful applicant to hold OHS Australian LR (Roller) Certification.

Salary and Conditions

The position is classified as a Level 6 of the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream B) Award – State 2017 and offers an annual salary (including allowances and leave loading) of $65,320.48. This position will receive 5 weeks annual leave including leave loading of 17.5%, 15 days sick leave, 9 day fortnight, Rostered-Day-Off system, salary sacrifice options, ongoing training and professional development and superannuation of up to 12% of salary is also available upon commencement.
