City of Port Phillip has zero tolerance for child abuse and is a committed Child Safe organisation About the Role The Coordinator Statutory Planning is responsible for coordinating a team of Planners to manage assessment of Council’s diverse development applications. The key objective of this high-profile position is to strengthen Council's capacity for pro-active, integrated, timely and responsive management of planning permit applications for the designated precinct. You will also play a lead role in educating all users of the planning system and stakeholders about the importance of the planning, including heritage conservation, urban design and sustainability, while elevating the profile of the City's Statutory Planning Service.
