A truly transformational infrastructure project, Western Sydney Airport is set to open in 2026 and will be the jewel in our Aerotropolis City. An exciting opportunity has arisen within Council’s Development Assessment team for an experienced and energetic Senior Land Development Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the processing of development applications (subdivisions and building) and providing engineering input and advice for development application assessments. Also, they will produce construction certificates and permits for construction approval, and oversee design and construction of developments, to ensure compliance with DA approvals, relevant acts, planning instruments, codes, policies and specifications. You must have a degree in civil engineering (or equivalent) with relevant experience in development assessment, engineering design and construction of civil works associated with development (preferably a minimum of 5 years). Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience, and competencies of the successful applicant. This position also comes with a leaseback vehicle or a vehicle allowance.
