ASSETS INSPECTOR


Council is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to coordinate the inspection, recording, oversight and maintenance of Council’s Asset Management Program.

Intending applicants should possess demonstrated experience in an asset inspection/management role ideally gained within a Local Government environment, tertiary qualifications in Asset Management or Civil Construction at Certificate III level or above or equivalent or substantial progress towards qualification, high level communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, time management skills, computer literacy utilising the Microsoft suite of products (in particular Excel), current Class C Drivers Licence, General Construction Induction Card (White Card) and a working knowledge of roles and responsibilities under the WHS Act 2011.

Condition of employment

  • A commencing salary up to $1,094.75 per week will be negotiated subject to the demonstration of qualifications, skills and competencies
  • 9-day fortnight working arrangement
  • A satisfactory health assessment, drug and alcohol screening and Police check is a pre-requisite to an offer of employment
