Open Space Assets Technician

Things We’ll Trust You With:

  • Undertake field investigations and provide technical support in the management and maintenance of open space assets for the Open Space Assets team
  • Responding to customer enquiries, requests and complaints and liaising with the community
  • Investigating and implementing solutions, to address community, environmental and service level issues occurring in open space assets and natural areas

Things You’ll Do:

  • Assist with maintenance planning for of open space assets including data collection, condition assessments and risk assessments
  • Manage requests for access through reserves and memorial tree planting
  • Assist with the development of Council reports and Open Space policies and strategies to inform decision making in-line with best practice and legislative requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service to enhance Council’s brand and reputation, and improve customers’ experience with Council

  • Package:  $76,000 - $80,000 gross p.a. plus superannuation
  • Hours of work: Permanent Full Time35 hours per week (with option for 19 day month)
