What you need to know...

  • 12 months term contract - full time or part time (negotiable)
  • salary - $60,782 - $72,483 per annum, plus superannuation

About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an energetic person to drive a grant-funded project aiming to enhance the resilience of Clarence Valley communities. The project aims to support communities to build the skills, knowledge and connections which will help them through all stages of the natural disaster cycle: before, during and after an event. This role will work with multiple partner organisations to coordinate activities and events and capture local stories. To be considered for this position you will need to:

  • Address the essential criteria

  • Attach a cover letter (2 pages maximum) and an up-to-date resume (5 pages maximum) that clearly details your skills & experience as relevant to this position. You will need to demonstrate how you meet the focus capabilities and how your skills will enable you to achieve the key accountabilities.

  • Target questions - answer the  target questions - maximum 300 words each question
    1. Tell us about a time you worked with diverse partner organisations towards a common goal. What was your role and what was the outcome?
    2. Demonstrate your ability to deliver multiple activities within tight deadlines.
    3. What does the term “community-led” mean to you? Describe your experience as a community leader or in a community development role.
    4. Tell us about a time when you experienced conflicting demands and were able to negotiate a good outcome for all stakeholders.
