About the position

The primary purpose of the position is to support the Hospitality Coordinator in the running of Council’s numerous hospitality outlets – including the Gallery Café, Aquatic Centre Kiosk and proposed new bakery café. The Hospitality All-Rounder will need to assist in preparation of drinks and food, take orders and complete general tasks required in the day to day operation of hospitality businesses.

About you

To be successful in this role you must possess:

  • Certificate of Food Safety Supervisor or willingness to obtain and at least 1 years Barista.
  • Certificate II or III in Food Operations and Barista qualifications (Desirable).
  • Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain.
  • Drivers Licence (Desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a hospitality sector.
  • Experience in safe food handling practices.
  • Demonstrated experience and/or capability to deliver the Job Specific Key Accountabilities (outlined in attached position description).
  • Demonstrated Fundamental key capabilities as defined in the Key Capabilities Table (outlined in attached position description).

We Offer

  • Hourly Rate from $32.8135 to $35.5155 (including casual loading) based on demonstrated competencies, qualifications, skills and experience
  • plus 9.5% superannuation
