The Program Leader Career & Capability is accountable for providing leadership and direction to the Career & capability team and for working with all areas of Council to provide pro-active advice and support, enabling the effective delivery of all strategic & operational career & capability activities.
The position has organisational responsibility for all key career & capability activities including:
- Succession planning
- Recruitment & mobility
- Career management
- EVP
- Performance improvement
- Positive performance
- Capability framework
- Goal alignment & setting
- Learning & Development framework
- Employee development
- Induction & Onboarding
You will have:
- Bachelor degree in a related field (e.g. Human Resources, Business) area or equivalent experience in a HR environment
- Ability to lead & drive the establishment, coordination and delivery of end to end strategic and operational career & capability processes in an efficient, thorough and customer focused manner
- Ability to monitor strategic and operational career & capability outcomes, and lead & drive recommendations and delivery of improvements in a timely manner
- Deep and broad understanding of HR principles, legal responsibilities, activities, requirements and ability to implement these in the workplace to deliver desired outcomes
Salary: commencing at $3937.40 gross per fortnight.
