Project Officer
- Band 5 ($68,160 - $78,719)
- Fixed-term Full-time with flexible working arrangements available
This position will assist in the development and enhancement of the Wimmera Emergency Management obligations under the Emergency Management Act 1986 and 2013. The project officer will work with the Co-ordinator in the development and implementation of emergency management plans, documentation and associated arrangements across four Wimmera councils.
The ideal person will have strong administration skills as well as being able to contribute to project management. The position requires an ability to work with a range of online platforms including CrisisWorks and EMCOP. If not familiar with these you will need to demonstrate your ability to adapt your skills. While experience in Emergency Management across the spectrum of mitigation, response and relief ideal ability to learn quickly and build on a strong skill set will be considered.
