Labourer Parks Building Services

We are currently seeking an experienced Labourer to join our Parks, Environment & Sustainability team, based at our Paget Depot.

We are offering a permanent full-time position with a 9-day fortnight roster (every 2nd weekend is a long weekend!) based out of the Paget Depot. Be home with your family every night and gain the work/life balance and job security you've been searching for!

 

The Role

Assist the Parks Building Services team by providing a broad range of high quality, trade level repair and maintenance skills, to undertake planned maintenance of park infrastructure/Council facilities, and other maintenance duties on a scheduled or as directed basis.

 

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Current General Construction Safety ‘White/Blue’ Card.
  • Current QLD Light Rigid Truck ‘LR’ Class Drivers Licence.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely carry out tasks including manual handling.
  • Broad industry builder’s labourer or high level of handy man experience within general building maintenance and/or construction.  
  • Demonstrated ability to competently use appropriate trade tools, both hand and power

 

Salary & Benefits Package:  

  • From $50,425 - $51,446 base salary + allowances as appliable
  • Up to 18% weekly superannuation contribution (conditions apply)
  • Choice of 4 or 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading
