ABOUT THE ROLE An opportunity currently exists in Council’s Information Technology team for a Desktop Support Officer with excellent communication and customer service focus. Primarily responsible for providing helpdesk and project services to the organisation. Ideally you will have experience supporting a virtualized networked Windows environment with Windows Server 2016 - 2020 (including AD, DNS, DHCP, GP,NTFS), Windows 10, SQL Server, Office 365, and VMware on predominately DELL infrastructure. Well-presented and reliable you will also have demonstrated abilities in handling competing priorities, working to deadlines, problem solving, process improvement and a commitment to ‘owning’ network issues through to resolution. Key responsibilities include;
