We are currently seeking applications to appoint an experienced performing arts professional to the role of Cultural Venues Manager. Applications close Tuesday, 21 May 2024 at 5:00pm. Council is seeking to appoint an experienced performing arts professional to the role of Cultural Venues Manager. The manager will proactively manage the business and operational functions of the cultural venues and promote the venues as key focal points for cultural, civic and community events by providing strategic, operational leadership and management of the venues to achieve social and economic benefits for the shire. This position includes cultivating and maintaining partnerships with local groups, arts industry organisations, artists and other performing arts centres in the region, state, including national arts organisations to enhance the reputation of the complex and its place in enhancing cultural outcomes for the Burdekin community.
