We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer focused Governance Officer to join our team on either a part time or full time basis in this newly created role. The Governance Officer will work closely with all areas of Council to ensure compliance in a range of governance tasks including delegations, leases and licences, insurance, Community Asset Committees and risk support. The ideal candidate will have a background in governance, or a strong administrative background working with systems and processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills, an ability to effectively manage priorities and maintain confidentiality will be required.
