About the role

This position is a full-time role in the People and Safety team, based at the Moruya Administration Office. This role will oversee the end-to-end payroll processing ensuring provision of a high level and accurate payroll service to the organisation.

Your main duties will include:

  • Supervising the payroll team, ensuring all payroll and associated functions are completed in accordance with organisational and legislative requirements.
  • Administer efficient collection, collation and preparation of information gathering for ad hoc and quarterly and annual People and Safety reports.
  • Provide technical support and maintain up to date configuration of the payroll system.
  • Provide strong customer centric support and advice to staff.

Salary Information

Total remuneration for the role is in the range of 
$85,112.40 to $92,979.95 gross per annum consisting of:

  • $76,677.84 to $83,765.72 base salary
  • $8,434.56 to $9,214.23 superannuation (at 11%)

A satisfactory outcome as a result of a National Criminal History Record Check is required for appointment to this position.

About you

We are seeking a confident leader who can hit the ground running. You will be an expert in the provision of high-level payroll services and application of contemporary Award and industrial related conditions of employment. Additionally, you will be a multitasker, super organised and thrive on meeting strict deadlines in a fast paced, busy and collaborative environment. Your application should further demonstrate the following:

  • Experience and familiarity with utilising and reporting from a HRMIS and compiling reports.
  • Ability to lead a team, effectively coordinating workloads, manage performance and building a harmonious team environment.
  • High level technology skills across a range of programs including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, with proven results in providing quality and practical outcomes efficiently.
