We deliver 21 key services such as childcare, waste collection, parks maintenance, libraries, community facilities and aquatic centres to over 370,000 residents.

The role

Do you have a current HR licence as well as experience in concrete works and laying Asphalt? CBCity has a permanent full-time opportunity to join our Roads Operations Unit as a 3-8 Tonne Truck Driver and Labourer. Your role will be to operate a truck to and from worksites and assist with general labouring duties when the truck is not in use.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Operate the truck and tow a trailer with the roller to and from worksites as directed.
  • Operate the Hiab crane.
  • Complete a Daily Checklist and maintenance upkeep of the truck.
  • Prepare and implement programmed and required works for the team.
  • Assist with general labouring duties when truck is not in use.

You will have:

  • Current Class C and HR drivers licence.
  • Current SafeWork NSW White Card.
  • Experience in Road Construction and maintenance operations.
  • Previous experience concrete finishing and truck driving.
  • Current Traffic Control tickets highly regarded.

The salary range for this opportunity starts at $58,183 (Grade B, Step1) + AWCA1 + 11% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
