Grants Management Officer

 

  • Permanent Full-time Opportunity (35-hour week) 
  • 19-day 4-week cycle (Variable day Off) 
  • (Grade F) Salary Ranging from $74,789.00 - $86,916.44 p.a + 11% Superannuation (Depending on Experience & Qualifications) 

The Opportunity

The primary purpose of the Grants Management Officer is to Identify, prioritise and source grant funding opportunities for Wingecarribee Shire Council and community groups. You will be required to manage grant application process end-to-end ensuring organisational guidelines and procedures are maintained and followed. You will need to establish and implement robust monitoring mechanisms to track application progress and be able to effectively collaborate with and support various departments and stakeholder throughout the process.

Essential Criteria 

  • Diploma or higher qualification in business, commerce, management, law or other discipline appropriate to this role.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills; including demonstrated ability to positively influence, persuade, negotiate and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of legislation applicable to the NSW Local Government sector.
  • Demonstrated skills in grant submission preparation and grant acquittal processes.
  • Demonstrated high level research skills and the ability to plan and prioritise tasks in order to achieve outcomes.
  • Be willing to undertake a National Police Check before commencement.
