Supervisor - Maintenance - Works

We are currently seeking applications for Supervisor – Maintenance to join the Works team and assist the Works Overseer by managing significant components of Council’s capital and maintenance road and drainage construction programmes.

About the role

This position is responsible for supervising and co-ordinating the maintenance and construction of Council assists in connection with roads and footpaths, kerbing and channelling and stormwater drainage, boat ramps.  We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with considerable experience in the construction industry with accompanying leadership skills. The supervisor position is responsible for co-ordinating the engagement of private contracted plant and services, therefore effective negotiating and interpersonal skills are required. Completing projects within budget allocation are part of this position, so the successful applicant needs to have experience in costing control and forecasting.

The applicable salary is to a ceiling of Level 4 ($92,592) with the commencing salary dependent upon the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
