About the Organisation The City of Port Phillip is an inner-city council with around 1000 employees who deliver more than 100 programs and services to our residents, businesses and visitors. City of Port Phillip has zero tolerance for child abuse and is a committed Child Safe organisation. About the Role Are you passionate about heritage? This position is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in conserving the rich heritage of our City. Reporting to the Head of City Policy and working closely with Council’s Heritage Advisor and Strategic Planning teams. You will be responsible for conserving important heritage places in our City through assisting with the on-going implementation of Council’s Heritage Program. This will include co-ordinating heritage reviews and implementing heritage initiatives into the planning scheme and facilitating heritage outcomes on a range of projects including structure plans and planning permit applications. This will deliver on Council’s commitment to manage growth and keep our City a highly liveable, vibrant and sustainable place. Duties:
