The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is seeking applications from suitably experienced, enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join the Development and Growth team.

With Major development activity relating to the sources sector and growth of the town, finalization of new planning frame work this is an ideal time to join the organisation.

As the Coordinator Statutory Planning, you will be a critical member within the Development and Growth directorate leadership team, responsible for mentoring a dynamic team of statutory planners and coordinating the delivery of development services, including allocating, processing and assessment of development applications and input to strategic planning. You will also be relied on to assist as required with legal appeals involving Council's development decisions, as well as to provide high level support to the Manager Development and Growth and technical advice on complex planning matters to internal and external stakeholders.
The Coordinator Planning and Development plays a lead role within the organisation and the community focusing on the delivery of an enhanced customer experience and the continuous improvement of the City’s statutory planning services.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of technical planning expertise with a strong focus on supporting their team and delivering excellent customer service. You will be a driven individual with strong communication skills and the desire to deliver positive community outcomes.
