About the role

Looking for a property related career in local government? With no two days the same, the Property Coordinator’s role is varied and requires the skills of someone who is organised, has an eye for detail and can work at a steady pace methodically moving property related matters through the various stages to completion.

The Property Coordinator supervises a small team to manage acquisitions and disposals of Council property and acquisition and granting of easements , resolve alignment and encroachment issues to enable delivery of Council’s capital works program and administer lease arrangements over Council owned and managed land.

Qualifications in a property related field or experience in a similar role are required and a knowledge of Native Title provisions, or willingness to attain are essential.

    3. Tell us about a time when you were faced with a tight deadline, what was the situation and what did you do?

This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot,  however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
