Our council

Established in 2016 through the merger of the former Conargo Shire Council and Deniliquin Council, Edward River Council is responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of services to support and improve the lives of our 9,000 residents.

The position

The primary objective of this position is to drive the delivery of high performance services to the community for capital and maintenance works.

The Manager Operations is responsible for the efficient management and delivery of infrastructure services related to Council’s assets, including road and transport assets, water supply, sewerage services, civil construction and maintenance, open space and recreation, flood mitigation and drainage, waste services and depots and mechanical workshop in accordance with the decisions, policies and directions of Edward River Council.
