The Role
The Town of Port Hedland is implementing a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution that will introduce generational change to business processes. This position will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Operational processes for the Town, including Procurement, Inventory Management, Asset Maintenance, Project management and Compliance processes. You will be expected to work closely with key business process owners across the organisation to understand their business requirements and challenges to design and configure the ERP solution. You will also be expected to drive the transition process to the new environment and operating processes through participation in workshops, conducting training and other change management activities.
Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- Demonstrated and extensive experience in operational processes in one or more areas of Local Government operations gained in government or private industry
- Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering business process improvement
- Tertiary qualification or significant experience in Business / Commerce / Engineering or other relevant discipline
- National Police Clearance
- Current ‘C’ class drivers licence
- Rights to work in Australia
