Are you an experienced management accountant with excellent communication skills?

The City has an exciting opportunity within the Financial Strategy unit for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team. You will be an integral part of our team, providing a supportive business partnering service to lead and educate the organisation with budget development and monthly reporting and analysis.

As the successful candidate you will have excellent communications skills, demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and processes, and the ability to analyse financial data and information.

In this role you will be involved in the budget development process, provide clear and meaningful advice to Service Unit Managers regarding the management of their budgets and lead in the preparation of the long term financial plan.

If you hold a degree or diploma in contemporary accounting/financial management with local government experience being desirable, we welcome your application.
