The City of Busselton, located in the renowned ‘Cape to Cape’ sub-region of the South West of WA, is a dynamic and fast-growing local government authority. As an organisation we are dedicated to meeting the challenges presented by such growth and currently have an opening for an experienced professional to join our small and dynamic Strategic Planning team. About the role: Play a key role in enabling a responsive and integrated strategic planning framework that reflects ongoing community needs and aspirations; Guide the desirable long-term growth and development of the City’s ‘Strategic Community Plan’ and ‘Local Planning Strategy’; and Assist with the planning and delivery of integrated strategic community and regional infrastructure. About you: Excellent leader who is strategic and visionary with a solid understanding of the Western Australian planning framework. Enthusiastic and self-motivated. Strong communicator with proven stakeholder management and community engagement experience. The successful applicant must also hold a National Police Clearance not more than six months old and a current “C” class driver’s licence.
