The City of Busselton, located in the picturesque south west region of WA, is an enviable place to live and work. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and self-motivated Ranger to join our Ranger and Emergency Services team. In this position you will operate as a member of our busy Ranger team to ensure high standards of law, order and public safety are achieved in line with legislation and the Council’s policies and objectives. You will be responsible for the effective delivery of Ranger services including, but not limited to, education and enforcement around animal control, litter, unauthorised camping, parking and traffic, plus fire management and related management of City reserve land and property. To be considered for this position, applicants must address the following selection criteria in their applications:
Applicants must also be able to provide a National Police Clearance no more than 6 months old. This is an operational role and as such Rangers are rostered for duty on a rotating roster which provides operational coverage seven days a week, including public holidays. This requirement is compensated with a 23% salary loading on top of the City of Busselton’s Enterprise Agreement rate of pay for this role level.
