The Shire of Ashburton serves communities across a vast region in the Pilbara, Western Australia. The region is known for mining, agriculture and fishing, and for its rugged, ancient landscape. Tom Price is WA’s highest town, located right on the edge of the state’s second largest national park, Karijini.

ABOUT THE POSITION

An exciting opportunity is now available to join the team at the Vic Hayton Memorial Pool. This position will assist the Swimming Pool Manager to manage daily pool operations including water chemistry requirements in line with health regulations, ensuring the plant room is running accurately and providing a safe, attractive and healthy aquatic environment and programs which meet the needs of the community.

During the Pool season, which runs from the end of September until the start of May, additional hours will be required, however Time off in Lieu may be accrued for use during the ‘off season’.

Our ideal candidate will have all of the mandatory qualifications along with experience in a similar role. You will be a fit and active person who is looking to be part of a small and vibrant community in Tom Price.
