Council is currently recruiting for a casual Library Officer in Blackwater. We are looking for a customer service champion who excels at delivering excellent service. This is a varied role and include library operations, administration, marketing, facilities monitoring, events in the community, programs and services.

Library Officers are responsible for providing efficient and effective public library services in alignment with the Library’s Strategy and Action Plan.

This casual position typically works 1 day per week with additional ADHOC hours for leave coverage as required. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for flexibility and variety in their workplace.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:

  • Competency in a wide range of Microsoft programs
  • Previous experience in customer service, libraries and/or related disciplines
  • Queensland Working with Children card or willing to obtain
