The Role This position is responsible for acting as a contact point for local business stake-holders, with a view to coordinating a range of ‘economic development’ initiatives. The position will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the local economy, conducting research initiatives, coordinating information for council publications and updates for local businesses, managing a business contacts database and have a key priority of successfully implementing the Economic Development Strategy and Business Recovery Plan. About you Our Economic Development team is searching for a motivated and talented individual to join the team as an Economic Development Officer. Do you have diverse economic development experience with the ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities? If you can do all of this whilst having fun, keeping various stakeholders happy and working in a high volume and dynamic environment, then we'd like to hear from you. You must have:
