Council is seeking a suitably qualified applicant to fill the permanent full-time role of Ranger. Reporting directly to the Manager City Development & Planning, you will support Broken Hill City Council in delivering valued services to the community, through the coordination of inspections to detect, control and enforce Council policies and relevant legislation across the Local Government Area of Broken Hill. We are seeking an employee that has well developed administration skills, knowledge and experience in legislation interpretation and regulatory implementation. Successful candidate will ideally have proven experience in animal management practices, high level interpersonal skills, ability to manage positional workflow and take a proactive approach to their work. You enjoy living in Broken Hill and strive to make a real difference in your community. A key component of the position will be to enhance Council’s public image through responsive and effective liaison and communication with the community, businesses and other stakeholders.
