About the role:

Mackay Regional Council has 2 exciting opportunities for passionate and enthusiastic hospitality professionals to join us at our multi-award-winning facility at the Mackay Entertainment Convention Centre.  These opportunities are available on a Permanent Part-Time basis.

The successful applicant will have:

• A minimum of 6 months hospitality experience (Food & Beverage, Banquet, Function or Customer Service).
• Strong administration, communication, and numeracy skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to gain cooperation from clients, patrons, contractors and the public.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work environments.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate is essential.
• Current QLD ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
• Blue Card - It is an essential requirement for this position to hold a Working with Children Blue Card.  Under Queensland legislation, you must hold the Blue Card prior to commencing employment – No Card, No Start policy.  If you currently do not hold a Blue Card, we recommend you commence the application process when you apply for the position.
