Enterprise Architecture Practice Lead



Primary Work Location: North Wyong
 NSW

This is a unique opportunity that will allow you to establish and shape the future of the Enterprise Architecture practice and team within Central Coast Council.  You will be part of a collaborative, supportive and highly motivated IM&T team who are passionate about what they do, whilst working to support the wider community.  You will be responsible for providing proactive and holistic leadership and facilitation for the enterprise architecture function enabling the business to deliver services, incorporate emerging technology trends, and capabilities.

Key activities of this role include:

  • Leads the development and establishment of the enterprise architecture function, including the coordination of an appropriately balanced pursuit of enterprise information systems, data, technical and solution architecture viewpoints;
  • Analyses the current business and IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement;
  • Leads and facilitates the creation of governing principles to guide solution decision making for the enterprise;
  • Defines organisational requirements for the resources, structures and cultural changes necessary to support the implementation of the Enterprise Architecture.

  • You have extensive experience and knowledge in Enterprise Architecture;
  • You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels in the organisation, including Executive and Senior Leaders;
  • You are passionate, self-driven and excited about making a difference;
  • You are a natural leader with the ability to coach and mentor;
