Community Development Worker1 x Temporary Full Time, 35 hours, 5 days per week (12 month contract) Liverpool is one of Sydney’s most progressive urban and regional centres with major population and infrastructure growth over the next 20 years. To achieve great social outcomes and plan and deliver services for current and future residents of Liverpool, we are seeking highly motivated and skilled candidates with the best strategic minds to apply their expertise in community development and capacity building. Reporting to the Coordinator Community Development, you will be responsible for providing community development work to ensure social cohesion, inclusion and community connectedness as part of Council’s Community Development Program. This position will focus primarily on issues facing Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) community members, as well as broader community development projects and target areas.
