ABOUT YOU

Our preferred candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Project Management combined with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, be values driven and proactive, ambitious, and a flexible team player who shows a high level of self-motivation to grow within this role. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Design & Project Engineer will provide specialized technical support to the roads and infrastructure team in the scope, design, and project delivery of the capital and maintenance program for state highways and Council’s Road networks (sealed and unsealed), ensuring the effective and efficient use of resources that complies with safety, environmental, and budget provisions.

This full-time position is classified as Band 3 Level 3 (commencing at $92,456) under Council's salary system in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award, working a nine-day fortnight, 35 hours per week.
