Georges River Council is looking for strong and influential Executive Leader to join the team. The Director, Assets and Infrastructure will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of assigned services and programs under Georges River Council’s Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Plan, Resourcing Strategy and Operational Plan, as varied from time to time. A progressive and collaborative approach are essential requirements of the position.


Key accountabilities include:

  • Experience as a strong and accountable leader, consistently displaying integrity, accountability, respect, honesty, and a united and collaborative approach whilst driving high performance.
  • Demonstrated strategic planning skills including the ability to develop written action plans with clearly defined objectives and strategies that respond to identified needs.
  • High level verbal communication, negotiation, presentation, customer engagement and lobbying skills and demonstrated ability to apply these skills with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
