About the Organisation
The City of Port Phillip is an inner-city council with around 1000 employees who deliver more than 100 programs and services to our residents, businesses and visitors. These range from childcare and immunisations, to libraries, management of parks and open space, rubbish collection, road maintenance and more.
About the Role
Be part of an Environmental Sustainability Department that is delivering a diverse portfolio of programs and projects to support the achievement of ambitious sustainability targets outlined in the Act and Adapt, Sustainable Environment Strategy 2018-28.
This role will be focussed on working with internal stakeholders to improve sustainability outcomes through projects, leasing and contracts. Experience monitoring, reporting and evaluating sustainability outcomes is essential.
Skills and Experience
This job is for you if you are ready to hit the ground running and deliver measurable improvements across areas including emissions, water, waste, biodiversity and climate adaptation.
This role requires broad sustainability expertise along with excellent communication and collaboration skills that are needed to achieve improved outcomes both within the organisation and in the community.
