Engineering Surveyor
Bring your talents to the Central Queensland coast and partner with an award-winning Local Government as an Engineering Surveyor in a permanent full-time capacity.
In this role, you will be largely responsible for providing high-quality spatial information for Council projects and operations by conducting engineering surveys in a timely and cost-effective manner.

To be successful in this position, you will possess;
- Associate Degree in Spatial Science (surveying) or equivalent qualification acceptable to the Surveyors Board of Queensland.
- Registrant with the Surveyors Board of Queensland.
- Current C class drivers licence.
- Demonstrated ability to produce timely, cost effective, and accurate surveys using Total Stations, Digital Levels, GNSS and other survey equipment as appropriate.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and deliver small projects and monitor their progress.
- Demonstrated ability to assist in the guidance and training of less experienced staff in the performance of their duties.
- Proficient level skill in Microsoft Office.
- Highly developed level skill in surveying software programs.
- Highly developed written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of the Surveyors Act 2003 and Survey and Mapping Infrastructure Act 2003.
