The role

As our Senior Transport Engineer, you will be responsible for providing specialist advice on transport, road safety and traffic management.

You will:

  • Monitor and deliver our Road Safety Action Plan (2023-2027)
  • Develop road safety and transport safety funding applications and programs
  • Provide specialist advice relating to transport and road safety
  • Undertake the development of projects and capital works programs

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold a Civil Engineering qualification permitting admission to the Institute of Engineers (Australia)
  • Have extensive knowledge and experience in traffic engineering and road safety
  • Have excellent time management and project management skills
  • Have strong communication skills with a customer service focus
  • Enjoy working in a team environment

A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
