Mackay Regional Council has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and capable person to join our Governance & Safety team, on a full-time basis.

The successful applicant will:
- Have experience in leading the utilisation and improvement of corporate systems including the analysis and interpretation of data.
- Evaluate business needs and create solutions that can influence informed decision making at all levels of management.
- Conceptualise, develop and implement strategic and operational frameworks.
- Think strategically when identifying tools and solutions; considering short, medium and long term effect.
- Be confident and skilled in working with various stakeholders to gain in-depth understanding of business needs, articulate solutions and implement changes.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance and continous improvement of enterprise risk management and organisational performance applications, strategies and frameworks.
- Be passionate about improvement and enhanced customer experience through technology.
- Proactively identify opportunities contributing effectively and harmoniously to continuous improvement in a supportive team environment.
- Enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team with a positive outlook.

- Annual base salary range from $82,036 - $87,585
- Up to 18% superannuation (conditions apply)
